Music Album Cover for “StarSeed” Label.
StarSeed psytrance is looking for submissions for a female-produced VA called “Songs for Sekhmet” We are looking for submissions from women, female-identified artists, and non-binary artists. Tracks must be Psytrance of any speed and not have energy risers in it – we do prefer music in the many forest/darkpsy genres but we are not limiting it to that. Email submissions to email@example.com. Soundcloud links are ok, but prefer .wav files. Please invite your friends who you think can contribute. Thank you!!
Sekhmet is an ancient Egyptian goddess, often represented as a woman wearing a red dress with the head of a lioness wearing a sun disc circled by a cobra on her head. Sekhmet was associated both with disease and with healing and medicine. Like other fierce goddesses in the Egyptian pantheon, she was called the “Eye of Re.”
To calm Sekhmet, festivals were celebrated at the end of battles, so that the destruction would come to a stop. During an annual festival held at the beginning of the year, a festival of intoxication, the Egyptians danced and played music to pacify the wildness of the goddess and drank great quantities of wine ritually to imitate the extreme drunkenness that stopped the wrath of the goddess—when she almost destroyed humanity.
Since it takes a fierce but medicinal woman to create psytrance, this name was chosen to represent the VA – a goddess with a lions’ head. Since we love cats so much, this title just made sense.

Lollipop Books, San Francisco, CA
My first children book illustrated project is getting printed!
I collaborated with Bay Area writer Francie Aguilera, and very happy with the result. It was great learning experience for me, creating storyboard and finishing 24 pages with full color illustrations took more then 2 month of everyday work. Also, I worked on design layout and found perfect printing solution. Proof print looks great ! And Francie working hard on getting books to local stores.

I’m ready for new projects!
I am happy to offer my coloring book #1 featuring a collection of medium and highly detailed line art for advanced colorists. Cats Elephants and Happy Times by San Francisco artist Katia Goa (me) ! Level : intermediate to advanced.
while I’m working on my website you can get book at my etsy store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/KatiaGoaArt
14 beautiful line drawings are included in this collection. The book is staple bound. Measures 8.5 x 11. Pages are printed one-sided, meaning each line art has a blank back side. The inside pages are printed on a light-to-medium-weight, bright white, smooth paper that are suitable for all dry media as well as some light wet media applications such as Copic markers and dry brush application of watercolor and acrylics. If you are using wet media, I would recommend that you insert some kind of a buffer sheet under the page you’re working on in order to prevent bleed-through colors from seeping into the next page.
I would be happy to sign this book if you would mention it in the ‘note to seller’ during checkout.
It’s a black and white replicas of my original paintings. You can see examples of my colors at www.katia-goa.com
The 14 line drawings included in this collection are as follows.
• No Name City • Zen Cat • Dreamers • Happy Fields • Polka Dots • Great Escape • This Song is for You • Afternoon Bubbles
